International Yoga Day: Live on Breakfast TV

It was 2017, and I was en route to the airport with a one-way ticket to South America—a journey that would eventually become its own narrative. At the time, I was part of the team at True Food + Yoga in Auckland’s Mission Bay. As a final farewell to my studio days for the foreseeable future, I took a detour to the studio before heading to departures.

Joining presenters Brodie Kane and Chris Chang on air, we celebrated International Yoga Day with the nation. While the presenters were certainly in it for the laughs, it was a unique opportunity to share the practice on live television and bridge the gap between studio tradition and mainstream media.
